The Intensive Supervision Program (ISP) provides court-involved youth with the opportunity to remain in their homes and receive support in completing their court-ordered obligations. ISP diverts youth from expensive out-of-home placements, such as a group home, residential treatment center, or a juvenile corrections facility. The program also offers a genuine opportunity to connect with youth and to understand the challenges they face in their home environment on a daily basis.
The program’s primary services include:
- Individual counseling
- Mentoring
- Parental support
- Curfew monitoring
- Support for school attendance
2022 Impact
- 200 youth were county-referred during the year
- 94% of youth successfully completed the program by complying with curfews, attending school, and avoiding further law violations.
Using a strengths-based approach, Intensive Supervision counselors focus on helping youth meet their court-ordered obligations while simultaneously providing youth and their families with guidance, mentoring, and support.
