Briarpatch Youth Services is dedicated to strengthening the lives of youth and families by providing critical support and services. We host a variety of events throughout the year aimed at raising awareness of the challenges faced by youth and young people experiencing homelessness, highlighting the comprehensive programs we offer to the community, and empowering youth to become leaders in their own lives.
Youth Arts Festival

This year marked the 9th annual Youth Arts Festival which started as a platform to showcase the artistic ability of the youth in our shelter community. Today, The Youth Arts Festival has grown to include youth fine artists, performance artists, and makers throughout our service area, not just youth receiving our services. The Youth Arts Festival is a pop-up market where youth artist keep 100% of the proceeds from the sale of their art, as well as a talent showcase where performing artists from dance troupes to spoken word, and anything in between, are empowered and celebrated to take center stage.
The Youth Arts Festival attracted about 200 community members to support the artistic endeavors of 30 plus young artists across disciplines, in addition to the 2,000 youth Briarpatch serves annually.

2026 Open House

Briarpatch Youth Services will open its doors to the community for a special Open House designed to bring together parents/caregivers, service providers, educators, and community members who are invested in the well-being of youth.
